In the summer of 1969, the crew of the Apollo 11 Mission changed history by successfully landing the first human on the surface of the moon. This fall, Southern Seminary will celebrate the 50th anniversary of this “one giant leap for mankind” by taking you and your family on a Flight to the Moon. Join us at 6:00 pm on September 6th at the front doors of Norton Hall where we’ll take you back in time to experience the excitement, wonder, and celebration of the Apollo 11 mission.

Wristbands for Fall Festival should be obtained prior to the event, by visiting the Event Productions Office, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

A Fall Festival wristband will grant access to all the evening’s activities, including rides, food, drinks, games, and more.

Current Southern Seminary students may obtain free wristbands for their immediate family members, and SBTS Alumni will receive a discount for all wristbands purchased in advance (before September 6th).

In order to best serve the large number of Fall Festival attendees, consider carpooling to the event and take advantage of off-site parking. Please do not park on any residential streets around the seminary. We want to be good neighbors to those who live around the seminary and defer parking spaces to our residential neighbors.

This year, we will have shuttles available at both Sacred Heart (about 1 mile east of campus; large parking lot next to the tennis courts) and Louisville Seminary (about 1 mile south of campus; Laws Lodge & Schlegel Parking Lots). There will be directional signs to each location. Shuttles will run every 15-20 minutes from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM.

It takes hundreds of people to make the Fall Festival a successful event for the community. If you would like to join the fun, please fill out the form below. If you have any questions, please contact Kyle Eiswald at
