the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

Overview

Join Southern Seminary Expeditions this summer for a unique academic adventure in the United Kingdom covering topics from church history to philosophy and worldviews.

Sit in the “Rabbit Room” where the Inklings imagined Middle Earth and Narnia.  Stand among the tombs of legendary authors like John Owen and John Bunyan.  Stroll through the Welsh landscape that boasts more castles per square mile than anywhere else in the world.

Take a break from the classroom and walk in the footsteps of St. Patrick in Wales.  See the burial site of Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin as you tour the historic Westminster Abbey.  And you will not want to miss the once in a lifetime opportunity to sit in C.S. Lewis’  home library and hear a lecture from Walter Hooper, personal friend of Lewis and literary adviser of his estate. And as a special addition to our trip, join us for an acoustic concert with singer/songwriter Andrew Peterson in London.

I’d like to invite you to make an important investment in your ministry preparation by joining us for a learning experience that will last a lifetime.
