It has been said that visiting biblical sites is worth a year in seminary. Not many people have the opportunity to touch and see the places where our spiritual forefathers walked. I want to invite you personally to join us as we travel to Rome and Greece following the footsteps of the apostle Paul and the church fathers.
Southern Seminary Expeditions is offering field lectures from experts in biblical, theological and historical studies. You will be able to stand where our brothers and sisters died for their faith and walk behind those who led the early church throughout the centuries. There are few places where it is more exciting to study theology than in the Roman Colosseum or beside the Parthenon. Where better to study ethics than at the ruins of Corinth or among the echoes philosophers at Mars Hill. By visiting such biblical and historical scenes, the Bible’s hues become visible and bright and history’s black and white accounts rise in living color.
