Russell Moore

Russell D. Moore is Senior Vice-President for Academic Administration and Dean of the School of Theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a member of the editorial board of Touchstone magazine, and is the author of several books including, The Kingdom of Christ: The New Evangelical Perspective, and his most recent work, Adopted for Life: The Priority of Adoption for Christian Families and Churches. Dr. Moore also serves as the teaching pastor at the Fegenbush campus of Highview Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

Dr. Moore earned a B.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi, a M.Div. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Ph.D. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

He and his wife, Maria, have four sons, two of whom were adopted.

David Platt

A life-long learner, David Platt has earned two undergraduate and three advanced degrees. He holds a B.A. and an A.B.J from the University of Georgia, and a M.Div., Th.M. and Ph.D. from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has previously served at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary as Dean of Chapel and Assistant Professor of Expository Preaching and Apologetics, and as Staff Evangelist at Edgewater Baptist Church in New Orleans. Dr. Platt currently serves as the Senior Pastor of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama.

He and his wife, Heather, have two sons, one of whom was adopted, and are in the process of adopting a daughter.

Jedd Medefind

Jedd Medefind serves as President of the Christian Alliance for Orphans, a ministry committed to uniting orphan-serving organizations with churches to ignite passion and build excellence for orphan care, foster youth and adoption ministry.  He has authored two books and numerous articles. Prior to his current role, Jedd served in the White House leading the Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives.

He and his wife, Rachel, have four children, one of whom was adopted.
